Please ensure that your cemetery authorizes benches. Some cemeteries have very specific guidelines if they can be placed or if you have to purchase additional spaces to place the bench. Some cemeteries, however, do not authorize the bench to be memorialized with specific first names, dates of birth or death, or special epitaphs, but only authorize the surname to be placed on the bench. Again, ensure that you contact your cemetery directly for the specific rules and regulations.
